Opis

Szanowni Państwo

W Wasze ręce oddajemy drugą płytę zespołu Masterbrass. Do nagrania jej zaprosiliśmy naszych utalentowanych solistów, by pokazać wszechstronność zespołu i różne możliwości interpretacji utworów rozrywkowych.

Fun, czyli zabawa. Tworzenie i wykonywanie muzyki, by bawić, to najpopularniejszy jej cel w dziejach historii muzyki.  Mamy nadzieję, że ta płyta osłodzi Państwu trudy dnia codziennego, pozwoli z optymizmem spojrzeć w przyszłość, poczuć radość życia. Dedykujemy ją wszystkim naszym słuchaczom.

Życzymy wszystkim dobrej zabawy.

Zespół Masterbrass, to kwintet instrumentów dętych blaszanych; dwie trąbki, waltornia, puzon i tuba.

Chcąc urozmaicić swoje koncerty do współpracy zapraszają najlepszych polskich i zagranicznych solistów. Masterbrass w 2018 roku wydał swoją debiutancką płytę, nagraną w Archikatedrze Poznańskiej z repertuarem kościelnym, dworskim i operowym.
i ze słynnym przebojem „Time of my life” z legendarnego filmu „Dirty Dancing”. Grupa
w 2020 roku poszerzyła swój program artystyczny o muzyczny kabaret, którym bawi publiczność do łez.

Dear listeners,

We are presenting you with the second album of Masterbrass Ensemble. While recording it, we were joined by our talented soloists to demonstrate the versatility of our ensemble and a whole range of interpretations of popular music. The starting point, as per usual, is a brass quintet – two trumpets, a French horn, a trombone and a tuba. It is the lineup in which, for a few years now, we have been moving our audiences to tears, entertaining them, making them laugh and educating them; all this while putting into effect most insane musical ideas. We all greatly enjoyed recording this album and all our artistry and musical skill went into it. Thank you to all who aid and support us and put in a good word for us.

Special thanks go to our soloists, who greatly improved the quality of this album with their virtuosity:

To Natalia, Chaoran and Woytek – for their beautiful voices and amazing interpretations;

to Artur – with his violin always yearning to play, for creating captivating arrangements;

to Darek – for the rich sound and a large measure of humour;

and to Michał – for having created  unique vibes

Fun means joy. Composing and playing music in order to entertain has been one of its most popular objectives across history. We hope this album is going to alleviate your daily hardships and allow you to look into the future with optimism, to feel the joy of life. This album is dedicated to all our listeners.

Have a great time listening!

Andrzej Kulka

Masterbrass Ensemble is a brass quintet consisting of two trumpets, a French horn,
a trombone and a tuba. Following several years of working for various cultural institutions, such as Musical  Theatre in Poznań, Poznań Philharmonic, Poznań Opera House and University of Music in Poznań, the musicians of Masterbrass decided to form an ensemble.

The range of sound produced by their instruments, from the lowest tones of tuba to the highest of trumpets, allows them to play nearly any type of repertoir. Despite having been performing on stage only for a short while, Masterbrass have become a musical feature of Poznań.

The ensemble have been giving concerts on greatest stages in the country, in cathedrals, castles and palaces, presenting music from all over the world. The artists feel quite at home playing music of Renaissance and that composed in modern times, including pieces created most recently and specially for the ensemble. Their repertoire includes fragments of operas, operettas and musicals as well as hits of popular music. In order to add variety to their concerts, the artists cooperate with best soloists from Poland and abroad.

In 2018, Masterbrass released their debut album, recorded at Poznań Archcathedral, which presented religious, court and opera music. The artists have made two videoclips for  Youtube, one with the piece ‚When fiddles play’ from Franz Lehar’s operetta ‚The Gypsy Love’, and the other with the evergreen  ‚Time of my life’ featuring in the legendary movie ‚Dirty Dancing’

 In 2020, the ensemble extended its artistic activity adding musical cabaret to its repertoire, having audiences in stitches.
